This white jersey was prepared for use by Evgeny Kuznetsov of the Washington Capitals during the 2017-18 National Hockey League season.
Kuznetsov registered career highs in goals (27) and points (83) and scored more points (32) in his 24 Stanley Cup Playoff games than any player in the 2018 playoffs. He also had the most assists in the playoffs (20) and finished second to Alex Ovechkin in the 2018 Conn Smythe voting.
MeiGray acquired this jersey directly from the Washington Capitals following the 2017-18 National Hockey League season. This jersey is signed by members of the 2017-18 Washington Capitals team. The left number features signatures from T.J. Oshie, Andre Burakovsky, Dmitry Orlov, Philipp Grubauer, Brooks Orpik, Devante Smith-Pelly, Christian Djoos, John Carlson, Nicklas Backstrom, Jakub Vrana and Tom Wilson. The right number is signed by Alex Ovechkin, Lars Eller, Shane Gersich, Jakub Jerabek, Alex Chiasson, Brett Connolly, Matt Niskanen, Chandler Stephenson, Evgeny Kuznetsov, Braden Holtby, Michal Kempny and Jay Beagle.
The Capitals won the 2018 Stanley Cup title by defeating the Columbus Blue Jackets and Pittsburgh Penguins in six games, the Tampa Bay Lightning in seven games and the Vegas Golden Knights in five games to win their first Cup in franchise history after totaling 105 points (49-26-7) to win the Metropolitan Division during the 2017-18 regular season.
