Welcome to the National Women's Hockey League-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program's Regular Season/Isobel Cup Playoffs Game-Worn Jersey Auction.
MeiGray, named the Official Game-Worn Jersey Source for the National Women's Hockey League, has throughout the 2016-17 season been offering game-worn jerseys from all four NWHL clubs: Boston Pride, Buffalo Beauts, Connecticut Whale and New York Riveters.
The jerseys being offered in this auction consist of the one primary set of jerseys worn by each of the four teams throughout the 2016-17 regular season, jerseys that were not pre-ordered by collectors from the NWHL-MGG Program during the season.
These jerseys in this auction were worn in the regular season, and will also be worn by the rosters of the clubs in the two Isobel Cup Semifinal Games:
Semifinal Game No. 1: Connecticut at Boston on Thursday, March 16 at Warrior Ice Arena in Boston.
Semifinal Game No. 2: Buffalo at New York on Friday, March 17 at Barnabas Health Hockey House in Newark, New Jersey.
The two Semifinal winners will wear the same primary sets of jerseys in the 2017 Isobel Cup Championship Game on Sunday, March 19 at Tsongas Center, UMass/Lowell in Lowell, Mass.
The NWHL-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the actual primary set jersey worn by #1 Shenae Lundberg of the Connecticut Whale.
This jersey will be registered into the MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program after the season is completed and the jersey is authenticated.
The NWHL, which completed its second season on Sunday, March 19 when it awarded the Isobel Cup, is the first professional women's hockey league in North America to pay its players. The Inaugural season began on October 11, 2015 and ended with the Boston Pride raising the first Isobel Cup on March 12, 2016.
