To celebrate the eight years of history created by the Premier Hockey Federation, its players, and its staff, and in advance of the inaugural season of the Professional Women's Hockey League, MeiGray is hosting its final PHF auction, aptly named the PHF Finale Game-Worn Jersey Auction. This auction is comprised of jerseys worn by the league's elite players in 2022-23, many of which were not previously released to the public, so take your final shot and bid now!
The PHF-MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the jersey worn by #59 Mikyla Grant-Mentis of the Buffalo Beauts during the 2022- 2023 Premier Hockey Federation season.
Mikyla Grant-Mentis wore this Blue Set 1 jersey while playing for the Buffalo Beauts of the Premier Hockey Federation during their 7-2 loss to the Toronto Six on February 5, 2023.
In her first full season playing with the Buffalo Beauts, Grant-Mentis led the team in scoring with nine goals and 12 assists in 24 games. Her 21 points tied for eleventh league-wide. She was selected for the 2023 All-Star Game for the second consecutive season and notched two assists to help Team Canada win the tournament.
In 2021, Grant-Mentis became the first player in NWHL/PHF history to win the Newcomer of the Year award and the Most Valuable Player award in the same season. That season, she also earned a Foundation Award for the player who shared the core values of hockey with her community to help grow and improve hockey culture, and was voted one of the Fans' Three Stars of the Season. She was again voted one of the Fans' Three Stars of the Season in 2022. In 2022 and 2023, she was selected to the PHF All-Star Game. In 2016, Grant-Mentis was a member of the inaugural roster for women's ice hockey at Merrimack College, where she remains the program leader in points, assists, points per game, and penalty minutes.
