MeiGray in 2016-17 is collecting and authenticating pucks from five of our program teams: From games in Columbus, Dallas, Nashville, Philadelphia and Washington. MGG has also collected and authenticated pucks from previous seasons in Philadelphia and New York's Madison Square Garden. Scorers throughout the NHL, including some of the game's greatest goal-scorers, have notched goals that MGG has authenticated, and is proud to offer for immediate bid.

The MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... a puck used to score a goal by Mike Fisher of the Nashville Predators during the 2016-17 National Hockey League season.

This is the puck that was used by Mike Fisher to score the 260th goal of his National Hockey League career. The goal, Fisher's second of the season, was scored at 4:27 of the second period on the power play and was assisted by Filip Forsberg and Ryan Johansen. The Stars defeated the Predators, 2-1, on October 18, 2016 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN.

When he announced his retirement on August 3, 2017, 17-year NHL veteran Mike Fisher had just capped his career with a proud and lasting achievement. As captain of the Predators, he had just been a key leader on the franchise's first Western Conference champion, the first group of Predators to reach the Stanley Cup Final.

A seven-time Selke Trophy finalist, Fisher was drafted in the second round (44th overall) of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. He was a major two-way player for the Ottawa Senators from 1999-00 until February 10, 2011, when he was traded to the Predators for a first-round pick and a third-round pick. As a Senator, Fisher had registered four 20-goal seasons and a +10 or higher three times, totaling 167 goals and 181 assists in 675 games for Ottawa.

As a Predator, he became a transplanted son of Nashville. He scored 109 goals and earned 128 assists in 413 games over seven seasons. He married Nashville-born country music superstar Carrie Underwood. In 2016-17, he scored 18 goals and added 24 assists in 72 regular season games and added four assists as he played in 20 of the Predators’ 22 Stanley Cup Playoff games.

The Predators swept the Chicago Blackhawks, defeated the St. Louis Blues in six games, and then beat the Anaheim Ducks in six games in the Western Conference Finals.

After a tense and closely fought six-game Stanley Cup Final loss to to the Pittsburgh Penguins that turned "Smashville" into The Story of the 2017-18 season, Fisher announced his retirement. Now you can bid on a piece from a memorable season of a Predator who will never be forgotten, from MeiGray Auctions.

This puck is registered into the MGG Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number MGA003745.

Each puck was lifted off the ice by an on-ice NHL official, identified and secured by an NHL off-ice official in the arena during or after the game, and then authenticated and affixed with a hologram by MeiGray.

Additionally, with MeiGray's Game-Worn Jersey Program, every jersey worn by the participating teams contains a uniquely numbered inventory tag sewn into the jersey BEFORE IT IS WORN BY THE PLAYER ON THE ICE. This tag is equipped with security features regularly checked by MGG Game-Worn Jersey Program Directors so we can tell who wore the jersey, and when.
