Welcome to the MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program's 2016-17 Goal & Game Puck Auctions.
MeiGray in 2016-17 is collecting and authenticating pucks from five of our program teams: From games in Columbus, Dallas, Nashville, Philadelphia and Washington. MGG has also collected and authenticated pucks from previous seasons in Philadelphia and New York's Madison Square Garden. Scorers throughout the NHL, including some of the game's greatest goal-scorers, have notched goals that MGG has authenticated, and is proud to offer for immediate bid.
The MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the set of 3 pucks used to complete a hat trick by Michael Grabner of the New York Rangers during the 2016-17 National Hockey League season.
The first puck was used by Michael Grabner to score the 121st goal of his NHL career. The goal, Grabner's 17th of the season, was scored at 4:12 of the second period and was unassisted. This puck is registered into the MGG Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number MGA004883.
The second puck was used by Grabner to score the 122nd goal of his NHL career. The goal, Grabner's 18th of the season, was scored at 12:57 of the third period and was assisted by Adam Clendening and Oscar Lindberg. This puck is registered into the MGG Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number MGA004884.
The third puck was used by Grabner to score the 123rd goal of his NHL career. The goal, Grabner's 19th of the season, was scored at 19:43 of the third period and was unassisted. This was the game winning goal and completed the hat trick for Grabner. This puck is registered into the MGG Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number MGA004885. The Rangers would go on to defeat the Blue Jackets, 5-4, on January 7th, 2017 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH.

Each puck was lifted off the ice by an on-ice NHL official, identified and secured by an NHL off-ice official in the arena during or after the game, and then authenticated and affixed with a hologram by MeiGray.
Additionally, with MeiGray's Game-Worn Jersey Program, every jersey worn by the participating teams contains a uniquely numbered inventory tag sewn into the jersey BEFORE IT IS WORN BY THE PLAYER ON THE ICE. This tag is equipped with security features regularly checked by MGG Game-Worn Jersey Program Directors so we can tell who wore the jersey, and when.
