On a picture-perfect New Year's Day in front of 76,126 at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, IN, the National Hockey League's eleventh annual classic matched two Original Six franchises. The Boston Bruins defeated the Chicago Blackhawks, 4-2, in the 2019 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic.

The NHL-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history…an actual stick used by #44 Steven Kampfer of the Boston Bruins during Winter Classic Festivities.

"KAMPFER" has been printed on the shaft. The handle has a slide on grip applied and the tape from the blade has been removed.

Kampfer took warmup, but did not dress for the game.

This Bauer Supreme 2S Stick is registered into the NHL-MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number MGA13179.

This stick was collected and authenticated by a MGG representative at Notre Dame Stadium immediately after the game.
