Welcome to USA Hockey-MeiGray Group's NTDP Under-17 Team ‘96 Throwback Salute To Heroes Game-Worn Jersey Auction.
USA Hockey's National Team Development Program, based in Ann Arbor, MI, is a full-time development program to prepare student-athletes under the age of 18 for participation on U.S. National Teams and success in their future hockey careers.
The U.S. National Under-17 Team, part of USA Hockey's National Team Development Program, plays a full schedule of games against United States Hockey League foes.
On March 18, 2022, for Heroes Appreciation Weekend the Under-17 Team took to the ice wearing unique ‘96 Throwback Salute To Heroes Game-Worn Jerseys while facing the Cedar Rapids Roughriders at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. Team USA lost to the Roughriders, 6-2. Team USA also wore these unique ’96 Throwback jerseys on February 26, 2022 in Team USA’s 3-2 shoot-out loss to the Green Bay Gamblers at USA Hockey Arena.
One set of ‘96 Throwback Salute To Heroes Game-Worn Jerseys were produced and worn in the two games. There are 22 game-worn jerseys up for bid.
The jerseys are manufactured by SP Apparel. The set of jerseys was collected after the games by Team USA's equipment staff. Each jersey offered in auction has been security-tagged with an individually serial-numbered USA Hockey-MeiGray Authentication Program inventory tag.
Each jersey sold in auction will be accompanied by a generic pair of socks, not necessarily worn by the player whose jersey has been bid.
This auction is for the actual ‘96 Throwback Salute To Heroes Game-Worn Jersey worn by #32, Carsen Musser on February 26 and March 18. Musser signed this jersey after the final game.
Musser wore this jersey in 1 of the 2 games. He stopped 29 of 31 shots in Team USA’s 3-2 shootout loss to the Green Bay Gamblers.
This blue jersey, a Size 58G, has been registered in the USA Hockey-MeiGray Game-Worn Authentication Program as number USA02817.
While on the NTDP U-17 roster, Brady Cleveland, Ryan Leonard, Trey Augustine, Will Smith, and Oliver Moore played with the NTDP U-18 team while wearing these ’96 Throwback game-worn jerseys. Kaden Muir of the NTDP U-18 team also played for the NTDP U-17 team while wearing this ’96 Throwback game-worn jersey.
Proceeds will benefit USA Hockey.
